13 months to 2-Year Old Preschool Class
We understand that infants explore and learn through their environment. Our program provides a safe and fun place for infants to learn and grow through music, stories and sensory activities. Daily routines are adapted to best fit each infant's individual needs for sleeping, feeding and play time.
2-Year old to 5-Year Old Preschool Class
Our Preschool program is very structured and emphasizes an emergent curriculum, and focuses on many aspects like on building motor skills, arts- crafts, interest in listening and reading books, phonetics and math. The art program focuses on the whole child.
Mathematics:
Association of quantity and number symbols, memory work, concrete abstraction, decimal system, arithmetic operations and geometric studies.
Langauge Arts:
Phonetics, symbolic representation of letters, introduction to reading, reading fluency, introduction to Grammar, handwriting (formation and printing) and sentence formation.
Geography:
The study of the Earth and its continents, puzzle maps, Earth's land and water forms, weather systems, outer space, countries of different continents and various cultural traditions.
Sensorial:
The development and refining of the senses through exploration of the physical world including smell, taste, sight, sound, touch and grading of size, shape and color.
Practical Life:
Development of practical everyday skills. Practical life activities promote concentration, order, coordination and independence with activities such as pouring, sweeping, buttoning, scrubbing and zippering.
Arts & Craft:
Using the hands for art projects such as painting, play dough, playing with water, puzzles, cooking, etc.
Music:
Using the body for music, dance, dramatic play, and dance.
Story Time:
Using books to develop love for learning/education and for imparting knowledge on different topics each week.
The Preschool program is designed to make children ready for entry into Elementary school. This introduction provides a gentle transition into Kindergarten. Our goal is to provide a warm, calm, secure, aesthetic environment in which the children are learning by exploring different material.
Special Offer: Half Day Preschool Program
lil Bears is also offering half day preschool for kids above2.5 years who are ready to learn and explore in a structured environment. It focuses on all the above mentioned aspects of your child's growth. We work on letter and number recognition. kids learn phonics and learn how to write and be creative. The program is focused on building motor skills and is totally play based. kids are encouraged to read books. Arts craft and coloring and painting are few other things kids get to explore here. Apart from all this we take out time to spend on dancing and enacting plays.
Our half day preschool program starts at 9.00am and ends at 1:30 pm.
